Always optimistic and enthusiastic, I love sharing ideas and chatting about Social Media, Photography, Games, Technology, ect.

When I was a teenager I was scouted by Vancouver Agency Richards Models . This was my first real introduction to the world of Photography. I travelled to Vancouver several times over the next couple of years; but decided focus on education instead of a modelling career.
After graduating High School, I enrolled in the Digital Film course at the Centre for Arts and Technology. I spent the next 2 years developing technical knowledge and film skills that would later benefit my Photography path greatly. After receiving my degree, I started my own production company named Lex Media and would produce several corporate films and small business commercials for clients in the Okanagan and Vancouver Island.
In 2008 I took a break from Video Production and took on a position at Shaw Communications and volunteered once a week at the local Shaw TV channel. I later become involved in creating Shaw's first Social Media team and have been involved in Analytics, Marketing and Community Development.
In 2012, I decided it was time to return to original passion but wanted to try something a little different. At the time I was also involved in the local Indie Game Developer Community Full Indie as their Community Manager, and needed some photos for the website from different events. I picked up a Canon T3i package, started shooting and haven't stopped.
Currently I am shooting evenings and weekends in my home studio or around English Bay. My girlfriend and incredible model Megan Babee has been an inspiration to my photography and has helped me develop connections in the community. I am also part of local photography group The Group Photo and online photo communities on Reddit and Model Mayhem.

The most important thing to bring on a photo shoot is a positive attitude! Once you have that, the rest is easy.
It also helps to have makeup that matches your skin tone. I will rarely have a make up artist on set for Trade for Print shoots, so make sure you have all the basics.
And don't forget to bring your favourite outfit along for the shoot! It helps bring out your personality and style to the photos.
Eat healthy, relax and get a great sleep! We want your energy on set so make sure you have lots of it saved up.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the start time.
Normal sessions will take between 3-4 hours of shooting, so make sure that you eat a light meal before you arrive.

If possible, come to the shoot with with a beard or stubble and bring a shaving kit. This way we can achieve multiple looks; without having to wait for you to grow a beard mid-session.
Arrive at the shoot with minimal makeup along with a simple hairstyle. If you would like a makeup artist, please let me know at least two weeks in advance and I can book one for the shoot.
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus and other new Social Media sites are extremely important in networking with clients, friends and family; and having a strong profile picture is key to looking your best.
This package includes the following:
These shoots are for models for castings and modelling work applications.
Promotion Alert: I am currently offering Trade for Print for Vancouver models, dancers and actors.
During an average shoot I will take between 200-300 photos. From there, I will usually select around the best 50-75 and email them to you in PDF format. Then choose up to 8 and within 2 weeks I will send you the final images.
Sessions will last between 3-4 hours. There will be breaks during lighting changes. Some shoots may take place outdoors in the nearby area.
